Sensitive files on flash drive

I use a password protected flash drive which contains personal financial
information.
Does leaving it plugged in to my PC increase the security risk?

Re: Sensitive files on flash drive

Yes! If the drive is not there, they can't get the data. In the machine,
they can use cracker programs to get the password.
