Accidently Lost word file

I was stupid enough to open a word document and delete the original content
and then I wrote something else instead and accidently hit the save button.
The document was of course saved with the old file's title. Now I have lost
the copy of the old file and I wonder if anybody could explain me how I can
retrieve the old version of the file?

If you have Vista Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise you can use the
Previous Versions feature. Refer to Vista's Help for how to do that. If
you only have Home Basic/Premium, then this feature isn't available to
you. Restore the file from backup or, if you don't have a backup, you
are SOL. Sorry.

Sorry, you're out of luck. You can't.
