| | Vista 5472 cannot index start menu ? Could anybody tell me why I can't search my programs in the start menu search box, even thought the "Indexing Options" window has showed me that "indexing complete" ? Thanks in advance ! |

| | Re: Vista 5472 cannot index start menu ? In my previous post i stated that 5472 indexed everything I set to be indexed. However, I installed 5462 to my second machine (an Acer noteboo), and indexing shows exactly your problems. Start menu and most of desired folders don't get indexed. Anyone knows any solution?
