Just go to Properties of each and choose the Location tab. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: moving user folder to another drive I've moved individual folders under Users\<myself> as recommended and it's terrible. After accidently moving C:\Users\<user>\Search to D:\Users\Search, then undoing the error, then correctly moving it to d:\Users\<user>\Search I had to re-install Visual studio 2008 because it stopped working. There are web references to moving the entire Users folder at installation time. Aparently if you do this, upgrades are not possible. Ref: Dario Airoldi TechNotes : Steps to Create an Unattended Setup for Windows Vista and Microsoft Corporation Microsoft needs to build the equivalent of unix's symbolic links into the filesystem itself and cease these silly workarounds with hidden gotchas. |
