| | Why is it that......Folders always becoming Alphabaptised in Vis Does anyone know how you can stop your folders from becoming alphabatized as soon as you name a folder? It never used to do that with XP and I wonder if there is a way to stop it. Thanks for any help on this matter. Georgia |

| | Re: Why is it that......Folders always becoming Alphabaptised in Vis If you're working with a folder in one of the icon modes, right-clicking on the folder background & selecting 'View' -> uncheck "Auto-Arrange" will help. I don't see any way to stop it in list or details mode, though. -- Good Luck, Keith Microsoft MVP [Windows Shell/User] "Georgia W." <GeorgiaW@xxxxxx> wrote in message news 83D71F9-0ED8-4F64-BB50-7A4DD67E1002@xxxxxxQuote: > Does anyone know how you can stop your folders from becoming > alphabatized as soon as you name a folder?
