Vista - cant Install program I bought and downloaded

Ok ...I just moved to vista and Im upgrading my ADOBE audition ... ok ...I
purchased it at 6am and the adobe download manager started to download the
file but my windows told me I cant save it to where I want so it places it in
the temp folder ... ok well when it finished I cant find the file at all
.....I even go to the temp folder where it says it saved it and its not there
....so when i go to reintsall it ... it shows me in my window that the file is
where i wanted to save it ... but when I browse my windows its not there ...
then I searched for it and it is no where why cant I save it to where I want
.... is like 3 hours later and I cant install the program I just paid 99 bux
for... what is going on here?

It's probably in the Virtualstore because you tried to save it to a location
protected by Vista.
Use Windows Explorer to go to the folder where you thought you saved it. Do
you see a button on the toolbar that says Compatibility Files? Click it, and
it will open the location where the file is.

With Vista, do not try to use the old XP standard folders, like My
Documents, etc.
Use the new standard locations, like
C:\Users\(youraccount)\Documents
C:\Users\(youraccount)\Downloads
C:\Users\(youraccount)\Pictures

or create your own folders.
