Was this problem seen after using a third-party tweaker program or something? You can always try a System Restore rollback then. -- Regards, Ramesh Srinivasan, Microsoft MVP [Windows Shell/User] Windows® Troubleshooting http://www.winhelponline.com "Roddan" <Roddan.33yur3@xxxxxx-mx.forums.net> wrote in message news:Roddan.33yur3@xxxxxx-mx.forums.net... | Vista Home 32 bit | Re: My folders have lost titles and now show modified time & date. HELP!!! Hi Ramesh, I already tried a restore but hasn't done anything. I've attached a a couple of screen dumps for you to look at to look at. Its an odd one. It effects every file, folder, icon, word doc etc on the laptop. When I look at the options in a window to decide what I want it to show, the name option is missing. I'm not too sure about a tweaker program!? I dont know what one is, which sort of tells me I probably haven't run one ![]() Thanks for your time. Paul Hi Paul, This is an interesting one. Can you post a screenshot? | | Re: My folders have lost titles and now show modified time & date. Hi, I got the same problems as Paul I think. In my case only the authors are shown and I cannot choose the filename to show. I tried a lot. Searching Google get no results. It is apparently not possible to add a Screenprint to this message.
