| | reading DVD files I have some stuff on a DVD I recorded using a cyberhome DVD recorder and I've tried to download the files to make movie project's but the programs supplied on vista won't recognise the file's? Then I managed to save them as an iso file but that only saved the first chapter thats on the DVD, nothing else. any idea's? |

| | Re: reading DVD files The files with the video on your DVD have the extension .vob. Windows Movie Maker will not handle .vob files per se; you have to convert them to a form that WMM can handle. I convert my .vob files to .wmv format, using Windows Media Encoder. | | Re: reading DVD files Just Copy the vob files to your hard drive and then Rename from test.vom to test.avi or what ever fits...
