Explorer TreeView Lines Appearing

Hi,

I have somewhat of an annoying UI problem with Explorer.

For some reason, the TreeView in explorer is adding lines illustrated below:

Is there any way to get rid of the lines?

This began happening when I set my "Folder Options" to view hidden files. I deleted a lot of extra junk that explorer was hiding on my desktop, and that's when this problem started happening.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Brian

RE: Explorer TreeView Lines Appearing

I've always had that! Every thing to the right of the line belongs to the
folder that the line eminents from.

Personally, I don't like it, but I don't know of a way to get rid of them.

Hi Brian,

Welcome to Vista Forums.

You will just need to check "Display simple folder view in Navigation pane" in Folder Options. When done, just close and reopen the window to see the Folder tree without the lines.

Navigation Pane - Simple Folder View
