| | Too Many Users! After I became more familiar with Vista, I decided to add myself as a regular user and only use the Administrator user as required. However, I was unable to transfer my programmes, files, etc to the new ordinary user so I simply made my old Administrator User my regular user and made my new User the Administrator. This appears to work well. However, while doing this I accidently created another user under the regular user by renaming it. As a result, User, XXXX X XXXX has users named JohnM and John M XXXX. Both show up in c:\users\ I have tried to eliminate one of them since my files have a tendency to end up randomly in one or the other user. I have to be very careful when saving files as to their destination. I would like to consolidate the two sets of files and I need to know how. I also need to know how to get rid of the second user. Is there a way to eliminate one of the these two users? Thanks johnreid |
