I want to set up shared folders for documents (excel, word, music, pictures, pdf, powerpoint, etc) in Vista without having to switch back & forth between users Also is there a function like Windows Explorer in VISTA? That's what the \Users\Public folders are for.... files placed here will be available to all users on the PC, and are automatically shared on a network. I made my downloads folder the public downloads folder, but I have not tried this with the documents folder. Right click Documents, select properties. Select the location tab. Select the Move.. button and make your changes.
