Windows Search

Hey guys I deleted some questionable files (porn) off of my computer. When I
do a search in windows the file names are still there. I tried to highlight
(right click) and delet but it will not let me. I am trying to get rid of
them before my wife chews me a new one. Any help please. THANKS!

LOL Deuce, busted.

This just sounds like the index has not finished updating itself yet since it only runs slowly in the background during low or idle usage. You can force it to update faster by doing a "Rebuild" of the index, then those files should not show up in the search results. You can see how in this tutorial if needed.

Indexing Options

Hope you make it before she catches you. LOL

Re: Windows Search

The files are deleted but the Index doesn't "know" it.
You need to Rebuild the Index.
