Weird things in User folder.

Okay, here is my dillema.

First of all, in my user folder, my Documents folder is missing. I have no idea where it went or what happened to it. Everything that was in there, however, somehow ended up in my Favorites folder.

Not only that, but now there are two Favorites folders in my user folder. I can't delete one, because it deletes the other. They are identical; whatever I do to one, it does to the other.

If I try to search for my Documents folder by typing "shell: personal" in the search field, it brings up Favorites.

Does anyone have any possible solutions to my problem?

Hi DarkRevelation,

Welcome to Vista Forums.

Try Method Two in this tutorial to restore the default locations of the "Documents" and "Favorites" folders in the registry.
