| | Icons Do Not Show a Thumbnail of my Photographs I have a lot of photographs on my Vista computer. When I try to find a photograph ina folder the icon does not show me what the photograph looks like. It is just a generic mountain and lake scene for every picture. How can I turn on the actual picture to be depicted in the icon of the file? Thank you for your help. Brian Maskell |

| | Re: Icons Do Not Show a Thumbnail of my Photographs Only I have no tools or options showing. It's very strange. My menu choices are organize, view, explore, slide show, email, share, and burn. This is when I have the folders set to properties>customize> folder type template> pictures and videos. I've tried right clicking on the folder an don the menu area and can not get tools anywhere. Can someone please explain further? -- TeresaJill Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |

| | Re: Icons Do Not Show a Thumbnail of my Photographs The Menu bar is hidden by default. Hold the ALT key and press T to access the "Tools" menu. -- Ramesh Srinivasan, Microsoft MVP [Windows Shell/User] The Winhelponline Blog: http://www.winhelponline.com/blog Windows® Troubleshooting: http://www.winhelponline.com "TeresaJill" <TeresaJill.3apjk8@xxxxxx-mx.forums.vistaheads.com> wrote in message news:TeresaJill.3apjk8@xxxxxx-mx.forums.vistaheads.com...
