| Guest | Re: Vista not saving File! Hi, Nate. Question #1: What is YOUR User Name? Question #2: What do you see in C:\Users\<Your User Name>\Downloads? If you don't know your User Name, just press the Start key and look at the top of the right-hand Menu column. Right under the little doggie - or whatever icon you've chosen. In my case, I would look in C:\Users\RC\Downloads. You might find it in C:\Users\Nate\Downloads. RC -- R. C. | Guest | Re: Vista not saving File! If they use the Windows Installer (MSI), it should appear no problem. Usually links will be put in the start menu to access the applications. If you open the properties of the shortcut in the start menu, it should tell you the path of the actual file. Some thoughts: - If you're installing a 32-bit application on a 64-bit Os, it will be installed to the "Program Files (x86)" folder. - If the application isn't running with the Windows installer, then it is possible that it could be ending up in the compatability files for virtualization purposes. You should see a button in the commands bar if this is the case. Hope this helps, Justin Martin Windows Experience - Find & Organize "NateXSG" wrote:
