Vista and Briefcase

In windows XP there used to be a way to orphan files and then delete them. This doesnt seem to exist in Briefcase for Vista.

am I missing something?

RE: Vista and Briefcase

m3d0c,

Sorry for the furstration. This is still possible in Windows Vista. Please
follow these steps to accomplish this task:

1) Open your Briefcase
2) Right-click the item that you would like to orphan
3) Select "Properties"
4) Select the "Update Status" tab
5) Click the "Spit From Original" button
6) Confirm the dialog

Let me know if this answers your question.

Thanks,
David
