How to copy downloaded FLV files

In XP one could easily find (FLV) files in Temporary Internet Files and copy
them. In Vista these files seem to be in ....\Temporary Internet
Files\Low\Content.IE5\.....
However the subfolders in \Temporary Internet files are not visible under
Vista, therefore probably hidden.
In Folder Options I did
a) tick "Show hidden files and folders", and
b) UNtick "Hide protectd operation system files".
This does not make any change. How can I see and copy these files ?
Thank you for your help.

Re: How to copy downloaded FLV files

Try:
"C:\Documents and Settings\Your Details\AppData\Local\Temporary Internet
Files\Low\Content.IE5"

Make sure it's not the shortcut you're pointing to.

Re: How to copy downloaded FLV files

To see the full contents of the Temporary Internet Files folder, you have to
(temporarily) disable protected mode and restart IE7.
To do this:

Double click the bottom of the Internet Explorer window where it says
"Protected Mode: On"
A dialog box should open
Uncheck the area that says "Enable Protected Mode"
Choose apply
Another dialog should open warning you about browsing security. Choose OK
Open another explorer window (this is somewhat important if your temporary
files are erased when the browser closes)
Navigate to the Temporary Internet Files folder and copy the file(s) that
you want
Reset the protected mode as above.

I would stress that you only disable protected mode on a temporary basis in
order to copy your file. It is an effective barrier to browser based
attacks.
Hope this helps.

There's a file manager, XYplorer, that can do it. I just asked in the user
forum:
