| Thom Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Re: Recycle Problem (cant select more then 1 file) This worked for me. Solution to Problem in Vista PROBLEM: Cannot select multiple files. For example, if you want to highlight more than one file at a time to, say, delete a bunch of files all at once, you would normally click on the first file, press and hold the Shift key, and then press the last file. This highlights all the files in between and now you can operate on all of the files at once. Go to Start button. Type in COMMAND. This gives you the DOS Command Prompt line. Type in REGEDIT. This will take you to the registry. Locate the key named: HKEY_CURRENT_USER Then go to: Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell Find the folders named: BagMRU and Bags Delete all the files under each of these folders. (Or just delete the whole folders.) Go back to Windows Explorer. Close Explorer and reopen it. You should now be able to Select Multiple Files at once. My problem is that these two BAG folders regenerate themselves. I want to know how to permanently deleted these registry folders. Or do I need these files for something else and don't know it? |
