Vista Search Fails to Initialize

Hi

For some reason my Vista search has stopped working completely. The service
is still running though. Everytime i run the search i get the error message
"search fails to initialize".

Can anyone help pls.

I would suggest updating to the latest version of Windows Search, available
here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940157

Hi Dave,

I cant use that KB because im not on Vista SP1 (which itself is another
problem, for some reason the SP1 update keep failing on me. Vista SP1 support
cant figure it out either).
