| | moving files in vista windows explorer I'm finding the new windows explorer cumbersome When I click on the quick launch icon I get a view that's dificult to navigate I wish to see at the top of the list Desktop My Computer My Documents etc. More like XP so I can get to my drives. I also find that it's hard to go back and forth between drives. Navigation is difficult Is there a 'Classic' option? -- ----------------------------- Bill H. in Chicagoland webcams at http://76.16.160.118:8080/ Current Weather at http://hhweather.webhop.org |

Click the arrow and the list as you described will show. |

| | Re: moving files in vista windows explorer thank you almost there that shows me the folters in fact more than I want to see I'd like to have it show C: and D: open in that view ALWAYS be visible I now have it showing my drives How do I make this the default so it always opens this way and I don't have to drill through to get to c, d, e, etc. etc. Basically how do I get this view to be my default view and if I open a pane, I can't back arrow to the original folders on left and lists of whats in the selected folder on the right. I want the folders to ALWAYS be visible on the left so I can copy and paste easily Way it is now, once I select a subfolder, I can't get back to computer on left.
