| | shortcut to 'Run As Administrator' How do I create a shortcut to a program that needs to be "Run as Administrator"? What I currently do is right-click on the program name and choose "Run as Administrator", but if there is a way to create such an icon on my desktop, that would be a great time-saver. Pl help. TIA Russel |

| Vista Ultimate 32-bit | Re: shortcut to 'Run As Administrator' Just right click the program and select create shortcut, and copy it to your Desktop. Then right click the shortcut, select properties, click on the Compatibility tab, and put a check mark next to run this program as administrator. |

You will find what you want there. If you are looking to avoid the continue prompt, that won't happen. |
