| home ed | Not sure where this goes but I need help I deleted out one of my folders that I need badly by accendent, it's not in the R bin, it was deleted out, is there anyway I can restore this folder with out having to pay 50 bucks for a program that does it for me. I down loaded one called WinUndelete 3.20 and it found the folder but when I go to restore it back it asks me to buy it after it says I didn't need too. This is really upsetting me that I deleted out this folder and would like for it to come back. please anyone help me figure this out before I cry myself into a huge puddle. I really need this folder back. please... |

For the same reason, when you download the utility below save it and install to a separate partition if you have one. Go to www.glarysoft.com and download the free glaryutilities - it includes an excellent undelete function. Versions 2.6 onwards work fine on 64bit. ( They do a glaryundelete separately , but I'm not sure they've updated that for x64 yet.) Let me know how you get on SIW2 |

| home ed | Re: Not sure where this goes but I need help okay well, I got my folder back but now I have a slight problem, I use psd files to save my work so I can go back into it if need be to correct something, some of the files are saying that the psd file isn't a valid file in PSCS, why is it doing that? just like the jpg's are doing the same thing, some will show some won't. whats going on? |

| home ed | Re: Not sure where this goes but I need help .PSD is a file extention that is used with PhotoShop CS it saves things with layers so you don't have to flatten the whole thing unless your ready too flatten it. I had some of these files saved and now Photoshop says that it's not a valied (sp?) file even though its a .psd like the rest of them. and some of the Jpg aren't showing up either, it is saying that they are compatable with Photoshop. which doesn't make sence to me. what happened to these files for them to have gone so wacky? |

| VISTA HOME PREMIUM X64/ 7 x64 / 7x86 | Re: Not sure where this goes but I need help Hi , I've never used Photoshop CS so I am afraid I don't know the answer - could be the recovered file was in good condition, but not perfect. Hopefully most of the files are ok - better than losing all of them ! You could try looking out for threads on this forum about Photoshop and see if maybe these can be fixed ? This is a separate question so you might be better posting it on the music, pictures and video section. Vista music pictures video - Vista Forums SIW2 |

| home ed | Re: Not sure where this goes but I need help maybe that or the computer already started eating them so they got messed up or were deleted but still there sort of thing. I have a photo of one and could show you what it looks like. to me it looks like it was starting to be eaten at by the computer...strange I know but that's I can think of for the way it looks. |

If you want to upload a photo to a thread, the end of this tutorial shows how How to use the Snipping Tool in Vista You might be better posting it to the thread that deals with photos http://www.vistax64.com/vista-music-pictures-video/ - and if no one there can help, then maybe a specific photoshop forum site.
