| Newbie | how to reinstall public /desktop I accidentally deleted it folder and now any program i try to install it says cant acess folder public/desktop and it fails all installation |

| Newbie | Re: how to reinstall public /desktop i havent deleted it today. i deleted long ago but never had the issue with installation before it says code 1606. cant find network location Public/Desktop and therefore i cant finish any installation |

| Post No Evil ;) | Re: how to reinstall public /desktop firstly I'm not sure if this will work enter shell:public\desktop into the start menu search bar and press enter, and It should recreate your missing folder. If the folder exists (like on my set up), it takes you to the folder and standard function for special shell folders is to create them if they do not exist |
