| | Documents and settings is not accessible. Access is denied. As I was trying to browse got the following message: Documents and settings is not accessible. Access is denied. Cannot browse the folder even after I took the ownership. Any help will be appreciated! |

It is normal if you are using explorer.exe.Documents and Settings in Vista is not folder but junction of folder Users (see NTFS junction point - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) and has permission deny list folder/read data - it shouldn't change it. ![]() You don't need browse Documents and Settings because everything you have in C:\Users.If you really want explore Documents and Settings use someone good file menager i.e Total Comander running with administrative previlliges Last edited by Flavius; 10-16-2008 at 07:22 AM.. |
