Folder size not read by hard drive

Guys, I just bought a new HD and cloned my old hard drive onto it with Acronis True Image Home 2009. My old HD had 171GB of used space and now my new HD has the same files but only reads 145gb used space. When I tab over my folder like Documents and Setting it shows 0 bytes but it is full. Also when I right click it does not show the folder volume size in the coments box, and when I try to run defrag it quits after about 10 mins which might not be a realted problem but if it is i would like to fix it. Can anyone help me? I have Vista Home Premium 64bit and a WD Caviar Black 640gig HD.
