Searching for names with parenthesis in them

1. Quite wonderfully when I drag the JPG's out of my temp internet folder
into a permanent location it asks me how to handle the duplicates. I save
them and let Vista name them. They end up with (2).jpg at the end of the
name.

2. What I haven't figured out how to do is search for just those files. (2)
doesn't hack it because ( and ) have a special meaning. It gets any file
with 2 in it. "(2)" is somewhat better but it did have a couple of
apparently false positives.

What is the proper way to use parentheses as literal characters in a search?

Regards,
Al Christoph

Re: Searching for names with parenthesis in them

In the search box, type in:
name: (2)

This will narrow the search down to filenames only (ones that contain "(2)"
in the name).

If you only enter "(2)" or even just "(", the results are a little weird.
