| | Separating Data & Programs I always keep my data on a separate partition from the C: partition. This enables me to image the C: partition and restore it if there is any problem without losing my data. On XP you could simply move My Documents. This doesn't appear to be available in Vista. How can this be done in Windows Vista? |

| | Re: Separating Data & Programs Hi, Open Windows Explorer to C:\Users\<username>\Documents, right click the folder and choose properties. | | RE: Separating Data & Programs I've found you can Cut/Paste the folders to a new location. Some of the Folders - Desktop & Favorites, However, end up having two locations, so I do not move those.
