Dell factory Image

Is there a way to remove this, and install it to a flash drive? I have two hard drive c and d and a partition on c that is e and contains my factory image. How can I move this and will it still give me the option to restore it?

Suggestions:

1. Check with Dell about how to create recovery discs from the image. If
possible, do so. Then you can combine partitions if you want.

2. Purchase an imaging program (I prefer Acronis True Image) and image your
operating system (C. Store the image either on your second hard drive or
an external hard drive. Then you can combine partitions on the main
computer if you want.

Re: Dell factory Image

If your computer came with a system restore CD set, you can use that instead
of the image on the HD.

Its just a 10 MB partition. You can remove it by deleting this partition from disk mgmt. However, you can no more be able to restore your computer to factory reset. Then you can restore system image using Backup and Restore feature within windows.
