I think you have to go to start. After that it is a program or application
menu that you are really looking for. There should be something in document,
then file, that lets you go to tools and lets you set to defaults. If you
can do this, you will not need to use your tech service.

Hi, Betsy.

In Vista (or in Win7), go to Control Panel | Default Programs to "Associate
a file type or protocol with a program".
