Vista - Error saving large .rar file

OK. Been using Vista for some time and I am using a legal version from
Technet subscription. It's the Ultimate version. I have a large file in the
..rar format that I have downloaded from newsgroup using Windows Mail. The
file is about 325 MB. Every time I try to save the file I get an error
message that says:

There was an error saving one or more of the attachments. Please check your
free disk space and try again.

I have....a few times.

I have plenty of free disk space, about 140 GB.
Anyone having a problem like this?

This might seem a silly question but what program are you using to save the
..rar file?

I am not having that same problem, but I am having problems with zip and rar
files taking 15 minutes to an hour trying unzip/unrar a 6mb file.
