    Windows Contacts

    In Windows Contacts The only menu items I have are "Organiz3", Views" and
    "Burn". Where are the other buttons (eg Organise Contacts) and how do I get
    them back?

    Other explorer windows have buttons specific to their content (eg those
    containg images have "Slide Show").

    If it's of use, the contents of the desktop.ini are:

    [.ShellClassInfo]
    LocalizedResourceName=@%CommonProgramFiles%\system\wab32res.dll,-10100
    InfoTip=@%CommonProgramFiles%\system\wab32res.dll,-10200
    IconResource=%SystemRoot%\system32\imageres.dll,-181

    Thanks

    John

    Re: Windows Contacts

    Right-click the folder and select 'Properties'

    In the 'Properties' dialog, select the 'Customize' tab.

    Under 'What kind of folder do you want?', select the 'Contacts' template.

    Thanks Keith

    I tried this shortly after posting. Strange that it wasn't setup like this
    out of the box.

    You're welcome. I imagine that was some sort of hiccup on your machine or
    we'd see more posts asking this question.
