| | Missing Downloads I have read lots of messages that ultimately say the same thing....files downloaded are gone. I have only found one instance and it was a link instead of the file. I have tried changing the suffix to something obscure and nothing. I have set up "d:\downloads" and directed everything there. Nothing. I have done a complete search of my c:\ drive. I have searched inside \users, all folders. I have searched Internet Temp directories. I have searched the c:\temp drive I set up and found nothing. I have been using, installing, configuring, etc since windows 3.0. Finding files is not a hard thing, in any system, until now. I noticed there is some new program that is supposed to speed up my thumb drive, so I have to wonder if that is the problem. In any case, I end up having to download files on my laptop, and then transfer it using the network onto the Vista desktop. Other than Mozilla, or Firefox, or whatever, is there a simpler step that I am missing, or is this another bug? |

Uninstalled AVG and my downloads have been OK. |

I have been looking around to see if there is anything related to this and so far nothing. |
