| | Save As and Open dialog in Office When I was using Windows XP I customized the My Places bar in the Save As and Open dialog boxes in Office by adding two folders to which I commonly saved files. But now that I’ve upgraded to Vista, whenever my mouse touches these two customized items on the My Places bar the program crashes. I can use the default items on the Places bar—Desktop, My Computer, My Network Places, etc., with no problems but can’t get the mouse pointer near the customized items I created. Bummer. I can’t touch them with the mouse so I can’t delete them. I didn’t move the folders from their location on my network. The only thing that has changed is the upgrade to Vista. Anyone have any clues for me? My solution so far is to try not to roll my mouse pointer over the two customized items when I have these two dialog boxes open but sometimes it happens and bam—crash. No fun. I need a better solution. Thanks, Lynda |
