Uninstalling Program Listing

How do I uninstall a program from the uninstall/change list after windows
says the program can't be found?

Edit the Registry using regedit from the Run command.
Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Last delete the key entry of the offending application name..
