| | Data displayed in Explorer I would like Explorer to display data (files) in Explorer the same way they are displayed in Win2k or XP. This includes graphic files as well as web related files. When I open a directory that contains graphic files, or a directory containing web files, instead files' details Vista shows pictures or icons. My question is how can I make Vista explorer display the information same way as in Win2k or XP. Michael |

| | Re: Data displayed in Explorer You can do this on any folder. Right click the folder and select Properties/Customize Tab. In the top section click the drop down menu and select All Items or Documents. Click the "Also apply this template to all subfolders" option, if you want this to apply to the entire folder tree. This procedure is not recommended for any of the "special" folders such as Pictures, Videos, Contacts, etc. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "Michael R.
