No dual pane exploring in Vista?

I must say I am very disapointed that there is no dual pane option in
explorer in Vista like freecommander for instance. Especially with the whole
widescreen-monitor-for-Vista campaign.

Open two windows. Select them on the task bar (click one, Ctrl + Click the
other), right click and auto size the window.

Re: No dual pane exploring in Vista?

Or use PowerDesk Pro:

http://www.v-com.com/product/PowerDesk_Pro_Home.html

http://www.v-com.com/product/PowerDe...uirements.html

which is commercial software but very very good.

But there is a free version you can download:

http://www.v-com.com/product/PowerDesk_free.html

It does not have all the features of Pro but it does have the dual pane
view.

I have not run PowerDesk under VISTA since I use the version developed
in parallel by the original programmers at Mijenix -- Explorer Plus --
but that seems to have gone from the website of the company that took
it over, some Photo name. It worked fine under W2K, XP and now under
VISTA.
