Crash when accessing the user folder & sub folder

Hi,

I have some problems accessing my personal profile folder, and sub-folders.

Explorer will crash sometimes when accessing the user folder root from time
to time (explorer.exe appcrash / module=CLDemuxer.ax) , and more often when
accessing the Images subfolder. I remember seeing some sort of .ax module in
the crash details but I cannot rember exactly which one).

Windows mail crashes when accessing the Documents subfolder - error in
Winmail.exe / module=CLDemuxer.ax (again...)

Any explanations for this?

Cheers,
Daniel

The "CLDemuxer.ax" appears to be a file from the Doom game. You might want
to contact the maker of that game to see if there are any known issues with
installation Vista.

Re: Crash when accessing the user folder & sub folder

Hi,

I did do a Google search on the file and no joy, so thanks for the info -
I'll investigate and see what happens...

A shame that Vista's file search is so bad - I can't even look for the file
on the filesystem as 99% of the time it never finds what I'm looking for (as
opposed to 100% success under XP).

the next question is what the heck is a game file doing when accessing my
home directory?

Cheers,
Daniel
