Vista - try this desktop icon

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n,/e,/SELECT, C:\

make an icon to C:\Windows\explorer.exe

on the desktop and paste this line in the target line

you should get the tree displaying all the drives

C:\, D:\, etc.

How is this an different or beneficial to just double clicking the Computer
icon?

For some reason when I read that, I thought of [LOAD "EXPLORER.COM" ,8,1]

I just make the shortcut to My Computer on the desktop, works just as well.
