Controlling How Windows Explorer Opens

I am not a fan of the Navigation Pane in Windows Explorer.
Every time I open Windows Explorer I have to go to Organize/Layout and
uncheck Navigation Pane.
Is there a way I can control how Explorer opens so I don't have to do that
every time?
Thank you

Re: Controlling How Windows Explorer Opens

A simple way is right click Windows Explorer icon, in the "Target" you can
add this /e. c:\
This will make it default to C drive.

Thank you, that is exactly what I wanted to do.
What is the syntax to go directly to a specific folder?
Thank you again.
