| | .mdb files in Vista Business Hello Support Group I have MS Office 2003 Professional installed on my Vista Business laptop. The .mdb files on this PC cannot be moved to another PC or Shared Storage Directory on our Network and be viewed or edited with any other PC / Operating System when the file is opened with another PC using MS Access 2003 it opens up empty or blank. I also tried E-mailing the file to a programmer for troubleshooting and the file is delivered fine but when opened it is blank ... although it shows the file being 676 kb in size in the E-mail. I am a new user to Vista but this is a very frustrating issue that should be a very basic and simple operation on a PC has now become a Cluster-&%$@!. Any clues on WHY a basic .mdb file cannot be opened or viewed on any PC other than the one that it was created on in Vista ????? I am logged in as the Administrator on all PC's while trying to open this file. tia, RH |
