| Guest | Can I Make the SORT BY - TYPE Option Available in All Folders? Hello, I'm using Vista Home Premium. I want the SORT BY/TYPE option available for each folder. The SORT BY/TYPE option is not part of the Sort By menu, by default. It has to be added manually. I'd like to know if I can configure Vista Home Premium so the Sort By/TYPE option is added globally to each folder, including new folders I create. In other words, can I configure Vista Home Premium so that the Sort By/TYPE option is available in that menu for all folders, including new and future ones, without me having to add it manually to each and every folder? If this is possible, what is the procedure to configure it? Thank you! J. Danniel |

| Guest | Re: Can I Make the SORT BY - TYPE Option Available in All Folders? The problem with this is that it works only for folders of a particular type. You still have to manually go in and mess around with a lot of folders. The same can be said with the new folders, which this article discusses. Is there no way to apply these customizations to *ALL* folders? Or am I misunderstanding this? >Maybe this article will help (under Apply to folders - Options): > >http://www.computerperformance.co.uk...ders_-_options |
