How To Edit Existing Tags List

I have some tags that i have entered before and mis-spelt the tag when entering
I have since corrected the mis-spelt tags for the files associated but the
initial mis-spelt tag continues to appear in my dropdown list of choices of
tags to apply to existing files
Is there somewhere i can go to either edit or delete a tag from the Windows
dropdown tag list

Re: How To Edit Existing Tags List

In Windows Photo Gallery.
Open the Tags list on the left
highlight & delete the misspelled one

RE: How To Edit Existing Tags List

I tried the suggestion, but was not successful at eliminating tag names from
the drop down menu. If I type in a "corrected" tag, I then have two: the
original and the corrected. Was anyone successful with eliminating the tags
from the user entries to the drop down menu?

RE: How To Edit Existing Tags List

I also tried the suggestion to open a tags list, highlighted, deleted. That
worked for that pictures, but the incorrect tag continues to be offered in
the tag list for each picture. Help
