Pictures and other folders do not appear in dialogue boxes

When saving files from the Internet or even when in Word for example, my
Pictures folder does not appear. I have to either go up one level into
Users\MYNAME to see it or add a shortcut to it in the folder. I think this
has to be a big or something, I hope you know what I mean, let me know if
anyone else sees this too? Ross
