Fix File Preview...

Vista HP experience...

1/ Preview Pane does not show a Preview for shortcuts (e.g. to images) but
the Details Pane does... be consistent - show previews in both (the preview
pane can be larger)

2/ Search results do not show previews in either Details or Preview Panes;
this undermines the value of Searches and Saved Searches and should be fixed
(both panes should show previews if previews are supported for the relevant
file type)

3/ HTML pages previewed don't show images even if they are stored locally
and do not present a privacy threat; they should be shown.

I wonder what Google Desktop's like... <g>

This posting was misdirected?

Can you advise what the predefined type of Suggestion is for here?

I believe that was used when Vista was in Beta. The links I gave you are
the better way to get your suggestion to MS. It's up to you where you want
to post it. Personally in this instance for a Vista suggestion I would use
the first link I gave you.
