| | redirect user folder Hi. How can I redirect the "user's" folders ("user", documents, images, etc.) to be in D: drive instead of C: drive? Is it possible? In XP you use the properties tab to relocate My Documents, but in Vista I can't find the properties for these folders. Thanks. -- Nicolas |

Open the user account folder you want to redirect, \Users\<Username>, right click on the particular folder such as Documents | Properties | Location tab. -- Rock [MS-MVP User/Shell] |

| | Re: redirect user folder Sorry, but I still have a problem. I'm "User" on my computer, and "User" has all administration rights. (Under C:\Users there are three folders: Default, Public and User; all my personal data (such as custom.dic) is stored under User). However, if I go to the properties of User's Documents folder, I don't have a Location tab... What can I do to resolve this? Thankx in advance for your time, Gerhard "Rock" wrote: Quote: > "Nicolas" <Nicolas@xxxxxx> wrote Quote: > > Hi.
