Closing Preview Pane in Explorer

My zen mp3 player has an interface accessible through Windows Explorer.
It's a sort of customized view, like a disk or folder ,with various
available tasks showing up where one would usually see a list of files
and folders. However Creative set up this folder, it disappears all of
the typical Windows Vista Explorer buttons. The "Organize" and "Views"
buttons along the top bar are missing. The problem I have is somehow
(this wasn't there when I first set the mp3 player up) the preview pane
got stuck open on this "folders" layout view, yet I have no access to
Organize>Layout to close it. Is there any other way to close the
preview pane, perhaps by keyboard shortcut. Or is there some way to
reset all folders. When given the option to reset folders in Folder
Options, it only seems to do so for folders of a certain type, not globally.

thanks.
