Vista gives "not enough space" error when copying to "Documents"

I have a C: and a E:, C is vista, E is everything else.

I moved all the files under my user directory to the E drive. When I access
the documents directory through the start menu, the address bar says "> User
> Documents >"

I tried to copy a 15GB directory to here, It failed saying I only had 14GB
of space. Which I do have 14GB of space on C: but not on E: I have 800GB of
space. I verified that the folder is located on E: by copying a file smaller
than 14GB to "> User > Documents >" and it ended up on E:.

When I access the documents directory through Start > computer > E: > users
> user > documents > the copy works just fine.
