How do I move my personal files?

How do I move my whole personal folder(eg."zhizhi" in the start menu) to
another drive?(include my music,my movies,contacts...ect.)

P.S:In windows XP,I can move "my documents" to another driver by clicking
the "properies",but I can't find it in vista @_@

Re: How do I move my personal files?

Hello,

you have go to the Users Folder -> Your Folder. There, you'll have to
right-click every folder -> Properties... -> tab "Location", where you can
the new path.

Greetings,

Re: How do I move my personal files?

As in XP moving the data files (Documents, Music, Pictures, etc.) isn't that
hard.

Also as in XP moving the whole user profile is harder and requires a
registry edit.

Re: How do I move my personal files?

Thanks,

I started working with Vista a few days ago. For some issues I felt as a
noob again.
This one is not that hard but you still got to know where to find it.
Luckily I was not the only one :P
