Can't unzip to C:\Program Files

I find that I am unable to unzip (using Winzip) to a program file folder on
my C:\ drive. I try to create a new folder and think that may be the
problem, as apparently Winzip cannot create the folder due to permission
problems. Is there a way to make winzip work as it did in XP so that I can
unzip a program to a folder under Program Files? Now I have to unzip to my
download directory, manually create the folder, then move or copy the files
to it, not an efficient way to get the job done. Thanks for any help. (I am
using version 9 of winzip).

Hi JoRene,

That is the way Vista is designed for better security. You can also unzip to your desktop.

Sorry,

Re: Can't unzip to C:\Program Files

That's the way it is. If you are trying to install programs, do as brink
said, then double click on each file to install. If you simply zipped the
installed programs, you are out of luck. Programs must be installed.
