Sync Files Between 2 PC's

Hey, mmm, I have a lap, and i moved all my music and pics here, but still
want to have it on my other pc at same time (actually its a xternal hard
drive). This is easy, just copy and that's all. The thing is that i will make
changes on both computers at same time and i want it to stay synced easily.
This include deleting, modifying o r adding new files. But i'm worried if
somebody delete one or some of my files without noticing that. So i want to
know if i can manage the sync process, checking before easily what files were
modified, created or deleted in each pc, so i can this way prevent losing for
ever certain file that was deleted not by me or by mistake. Do i explain it
fine?
